My Journey Into PHOTOGRAPHY
well let me keep it simple, photography to me has always been a thing, I’ve got a great love for uniqueness, even before I got my 1st camera, I had a hundred and one concepts created in my head. The funny thing was I never knew how to explain those concepts to anyone, all I knew was I’ve got the content in my head that nobody could interpret.
So I started my photography journey with the use of mobile phone camera, it got to a point that I take better photos with my phone and I started getting a mind-blowing compliment from friends, family, and even church members. Even to a point, I got recognition from my church to join the media team as a photographer, at that point I knew there was something in there for me in the world of photography,
2017, I was at Abuja for Xmas, there I had every opportunity to explore my photographing life, there were varieties of things to draw inspiration from, so I made the most out of my stay at Abuja, the views were amazing, the sunset was just perfect for what I needed,
I started up from my compound where we have different flowers in their colours, at this point, I was getting even better snapping in portrait mode...on my 3rd day in Abuja,

MY COMPOUND Abuja
I set out for more practice, this time, I took it to the street, where I spent almost the whole day taking beautiful
pictures of nature till I lost track of time.
my photos started coming to life, nature was I all needed to kick start my photographing journey. just as though that wasn’t enough, every night I go to bed, I couldn’t wait for the day to break so I could try something different.

JABI-LAKE Abuja Nigeria
Forward back to Lagos, where I was invited to cover for one of my youth church programs which usually come up once in every year, this was a big one for me, my 1st big professional shoot…at 1st, I was scared but with the guardians and advice of Xtreme-media boss (Mr. Ayomide) who’s now a very good friend of mine and a colleague in my department, I was able to scale through the fear of covering that event and trust me, that was my starting point of taking greater pictures. after that youth program, I was invited to join the main church media team, this was something I never saw happening in a long time, but then it happened…
gt-bank fashion week runway...
At this point I didn’t just stop there, I created a brand for myself, formally known as KRISPRIL-GRAPHY, currently BOLD VIEW CONCEPT. I started uploading a few of my works, I kept pushing my limit. during the gt-bank fashion week, 2019 edition on the island LAGOS NIGERIA, I registered as a media house to represent my brand, before one is given a tag to cover the event, your Instagram page will be screened just to certify you're qualified, and yeah I made it through and got the tag.you can imagine my confident level at this point, I so bold enough to stand in the midst of professional photographers with my tag on shooting models on the runway, this was a life-changing experience.
THE WESTERN BRIGHT ROCK FOUNDATION...
Early 2019, I volunteered as a free photographer for a foundation, “the western bright rock foundation”.. I mean, this was like an accomplishment working for the greater good of humanity, through this foundation, I saw a different me doing something for a greater good,

Mid-2019, I enrolled for the biggest and largest gathering of photographers in Africa, which hit the Guinness world record for the highest gathering of photographers, “PHOTOWAKA”.The experience was fulfilling, hundreds if not thousands of photographers, big shots, big names, I met amazing photographers, people I never thought of getting to meet in my journey as a photographer, this changed my perspective drastically in photographing, through this gathering of thousands of photographers, I realised there is always a story behind every great or small photo taken, this really enhanced my photographing life and skill, I met with this group of young photographers who made magic with a beginners lens, oh my world.i linked up with them, shared ideas basic fundamentals graphics.
I kept on going for photography seminars upon seminars, scot for models, helped them build their portfolios for free just to improve on my photographing skills,
In a nutshell, my journey into photography was more of practicing, hanging around photographers, feeding my mind with good content, taking personal seminars, self-thought experience coupled with the help of google and youtube.if i can do all this in a space of few year, you too can up your game in photographing.dedicate your time and mind towards what you want to achieve and see it come to life.
